Debbie W. Sokobin, Founder
Debbie was the Director of Senior Adult Programs at the Bender JCC for eight years and most recently, Acting Director of the Jewish Council for the Aging Misler Adult Day Center. She is also a National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) Senior Move Manager.
Most importantly: Debbie experienced this exact issue with her aging parents in another part of the country, and has seen first hand how stressful, overwhelming, exhausting, and emotional this transition can be.
We are confident the support we can provide to you and your family will be evident at our free in-home consultation. We will manage all of the details of the move – from getting estimates to packing boxes, to making beds and organizing the bath and kitchen for a comfortable first night in your new home.
“Debbie helped my brother move from his home of over 18 years to an assisted living facility. She helped him sort through his papers, choose items of furniture, clothing, and kitchen tools to take, and packed him up in an expeditious, energetic manner. She had the patience and the ability to make my anxious brother feel hopeful about this next stage. She helped him set up his new residence, and she provided me with photos as I live in another state. I felt greatly comforted by her handling of his move and I trusted her judgment completely.“

“We recently had the opportunity to sell the house in which we had lived for 36 years in two weeks! What?! How on earth could we pack up the house in such a short time? Enter Debbie & crew! Not only was the house efficiently and neatly packed up, everything was clearly labeled for the “other end”. Our overwhelming and potentially chaotic situation was carried out smoothly and calmly thanks to Debbie. Couldn’t have asked for more.” Iris K.
